The next upgrade will likely take things even further. Google’s translate feature has been a stellar success so far, and this upgrade will do a lot to make it as ubiquitous as Chrome, Google Search and many other Google IPs that have shaped the internet for decades to come. That will better incorporate it with Google Lens, and it will give the product a much greater push moving forward. This new feature is being given the Lens Translate branding. Around 113 languages are being supported right now, but in spite of the fact that this is the case there will likely be a lot more that will get support in the near future. This tab allows you to upload images, and you will be able to translate the text from these images into whatever language you are interested in. Open Google Translate, pick the language you want to translate your picture into, and then tap the Camera button. It also allows you to convert PDF, Image, DOC, PPT file to plain text. Going to the Google Translate website would reveal a brand new tab which you can see in the upper right corner. Cloud Scanner Convert image to text, and Translate it. Not only that, but users will also be able to translate this text with all things having been considered and taken into account. What this essentially entails is that users will now be able to use Google Translate detect text in images. It turns out that this exact same feature will be incorporated into Google Translate for web. If you have ever used Google Lens, you might be aware of its AR Translate feature. With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that the upcoming upgrade for Google Translate owes a huge debt to Google Lens.


The tech juggernaut has just added yet another feature to this tool which might make it even more useful than might have been the case otherwise.
